I am an ex-ad executive that spent most of my days running marketing for my clients. I had always dreamed of pouring my heart into something that I believed in. I worked on haircare brands and baby brands, so when the idea of "T is for Tame" came to me, I wasn't completely surprised. Taking the plunge from an idea to selling our product to over 100,000+ families and counting has been a dream come true!
MISSION
Kids deserve to feel included, accepted and loved. Our mission is to provide hair products and tools for moms and kids that help untangle, smooth and soften locks so they can feel their best every day.
OUR STORY
When my twins were born with hair, I couldn’t find a safe product for babies — so I created one. With expert help, I developed a formula that quickly resonated with other moms. Today, our products not only help kids feel confident, but also support charities that empower every child, no matter their differences.
LOCKS OF LOVE
When my daughter went for her first haircut, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to teach her about giving back. She was an inch shy of being able to donate to Locks of Love, so we waited another month for her hair to get long enough before snippig it and donating it to a child in need. We will promote our giving campaign, "First Haircuts for First Donations," which encourages families to donate hair from their child's first haircut.
